Programs
Band
Students who play a wind, percussion, or rhythm section instrument are all welcome to join one or many of our ensembles. We offer marching band, concert band, jazz band, and show choir band. Students will play for the community in various events, as well as play for football games and basketball games throughout the school year.
Orchestra
Students who play string instruments will participate in Freshman Orchestra their 9th grade year, and then participate in Varsity Orchestra for their 10-12th grade years. The Varsity Orchestra performs for 4-5 formal concerts, 2 contests, and 1-2 community events per year.
Vocal Music
We strive to grow both the musician and human through our choirs, show choirs, unified music, and individual voice experiences.

About
Standing Bear Performing Arts
The Performing Arts Wing (P.A.W.) exists to help students grow in confidence, creativity, and character.
Our mission is to create a space where every student can discover their voice, take risks, and thrive — both on stage and beyond it.
MISSION
We are committed to providing students with meaningful artistic experiences that build skills, strengthen character, and open doors to future opportunities. Every program is designed to support growth, belonging, and excellence.
OUR WHY
We believe the arts transform lives. Participation fosters resilience, teamwork, and self-expression, giving students the tools they need to succeed in school and in life. When students create, they discover who they are and what they can become.
STUDENT STORIES
Our programs come alive through the achievements of students. Whether they’re performing, designing, or learning behind the scenes, each student’s journey highlights the impact of the arts and the power of a supportive community.
